Nanaimo Fire Rescue - Station Tours

Nanaimo Fire Rescue is proud to offer station tours to the citizens of Nanaimo and showcase the fascinating details of fire rescue.

Tours are held every Tuesday of the month on a rotating schedule for location.  Here is the schedule:

  • Station 1 - 666 Fitzwilliam Street - Every 1st Tuesday of the month
  • Station 2 - 2499 Dorman Road - Every 2nd Tuesday of the month
  • Station 3 - 6230 Hammond Bay Road - Every 3rd Tuesday of the month
  • Station 4 - 1425 Cranberry Road - Every 4th Tuesday of the month

Some things to note regarding station tours:

  • We are a working fire station so at any moment during your tour, crews may get called out to respond.  Should this happen, you will be asked to leave the building.  There will be an option to wait (depending on the situation) or reschedule the tour.
  • By clicking submit on the form below, please note that this is a request only and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Your request will be confirmed via phone or email by one of the Assistant Chiefs.
