PROPERTY TAXES PLAN

The City of Nanaimo offers a pre-authorized withdrawal plan for property taxes that helps pre-pay for the upcoming tax year. Installments are withdrawn on the fifteenth (15) of each month.

The plan runs from July to June each year for a total of twelve (12) installments; however, taxpayers can apply at any time. The later in the year you enroll in the plan, the less withdrawals you will have to pre-pay for the upcoming tax year.

Please note: taxes must be paid in full to enroll in the plan.

Please ensure you read the Terms & Conditions before enrolling.

Under Option 2 (Fixed), would you like the monthly installment to be re-calculated annually before the July 15 withdrawal?

Attention: If you are enrolling in the program or modifying banking information you must submit a Void Cheque or Bank Authorization Form.

Please include a Void Cheque or Bank Authorization Form if you are submitting a new application or changing banking information
