Where to Park
From street parking to parking lots and parkades, the City provides a number of paid parking options to manage high demand areas such as downtown and around the hospital. Coins, credit card and paying by phone are all accepted in these zones.
To pay by phone for street parking areas you can simply scan the Hotspot QR Code on the Hotspot sign or use the Hotspot mobile app. Payments options for Hotspot include all major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Visa Debit.
The interactive map below shows City-owned parking spaces - both on and off street - around Nanaimo. You can move through the map to see where to park and if there are rates associated with the parking spot.
