Old Reservoir No. 1 Dam

The Old Reservoir No. 1 Dam was originally built around 1910 and it was used to balance the water that was piped in from the South Fork Dam 21 km away as part of the Greater Nanaimo Water Service Area. It was dewatered in 2020 and is now empty of water. The reservoir is no longer used as a potable water drinking service.
