The following documents or approvals are typically required before a business licence can be issued. Documents and approvals can be provided as they are obtained and do not need to be provided at time of application. Please email documents to business.licence@nanaimo.ca or drop off in person.

Hydro availability

For an annual $150 fee, food vendors can access electrical plug-in outlets in select park locations.

Please indicate the hydro access required.

Bollard key deposits

Some park locations require bollard keys to access sites. Bollard keys are available with a $100 deposit per site / key.

Please indicate the bollard keys required.

I/We hereby apply for a Mobile Food Vending Business Licence in accordance with the information provided in this application and declare that all statements made are true and correct.

I further declare that I have read the Business Licence Bylaw, Schedule A, Section 11, as well as the Mobile Food Vending Operator’s Guidebook, and agree to comply with all applicable bylaws and all rules outlined in the guidebook.

I also understand that business operations may not begin until all required supporting documents have been submitted and the licence has been issued.
