Parking

We regulate off-street parking to support mobility and access for people who live, work, and visit our community. The Parking Bylaw applies to vehicle parking, loading, bicycle, and passenger spaces.

Parking Regulations

The Parking Bylaw establishes the City's standards for supply and design of off-street vehicle parking and loading, as well as bicycle parking.

On 2026-JUL-27, Council adopted the Off-Street Parking Regulations Bylaw 2026, No. 7453 (Parking Bylaw) and endorsed a new Consideration of Variances Policy.

Off-Street Parking Regulations Bylaw 2018  No. 7266 (Repealed)

In-stream Form and Character Development Permit applications received prior to 2026-JUN-22 can be considered for approval under the former Off-Street Parking Regulations Bylaw No. 7266, except where the owner opts to comply with the Off-Street Parking Regulations Bylaw 2026, No. 7453.
