Limited Income Sewer & Water User Fee Subsidy

Low‑income seniors who own and occupy their homes may be eligible for the Limited Income Sewer & Water User Fee Subsidy.

To qualify, all owners and occupants of the property must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 65 years of age or older
  • The property must be the principal residence of the owner(s)
  • Total household income must meet the limits set out in User Fee Subsidy Bylaw No. 7095

For 2026, income thresholds are:

  • $28,146 or less per person, or
  • $35,037 or less per household

Eligible applicants may receive a subsidy equal to 50% of the base charges for water and sewer user fees.
