Limited Income Sewer & Water User Fee Subsidy

Low‑income seniors who own and occupy their homes may be eligible for the Limited Income Sewer & Water User Fee Subsidy.

To qualify, all owners and occupants of the property must meet the following criteria:

Be 65 years of age or older
The property must be the principal residence of the owner(s)
Total household income must meet the limits set out in User Fee Subsidy Bylaw No. 7095

For 2026, income thresholds are:

$28,146 or less per person, or
$35,037 or less per household

Eligible applicants may receive a subsidy equal to 50% of the base charges for water and sewer user fees.
