The City of Nanaimo Culture and Heritage Department wants you to PARK it here on Friday, September 19 for the 2014 PARK(ing) Day. An annual open-source global event, Nanaimo's 2014 PARK(ing) Day will be held along Commercial Street and will transform a limited number of select parking spaces into temporary, short term mini parks.

The Culture and Heritage Department is looking for anyone (organizations, groups, friends or families) interested in being involved in the 2014 PARK(ing) Day event. Spaces are limited so sign up today and begin planning your exciting temporary cultural space.
