Change Your MyCity Profile Email Address

Occasionally users change email service providers and/or no longer have access to old email accounts. When that happens, there are two options to access your City accounts information through our website:

  1. If you CAN'T log into your old MyCity Profile AND you no longer have access to your old email account for Profile password recovery:
    • Set up a new MyCity Profile with a new email address and link all of your accounts to it. (You will need at least one old tax notice, user rate bill and/or building permit folder access code for each account to add them to your new Profile. Follow the instructions in the account creation section of your new Profile for more details on setting up each respective account.)
  2. If you CAN log into your MyCity Profile OR you have access to your old email account for Profile password recovery:
    • Log into your MyCity Profile with the old email address.
    • Clicking on the Update Profile button.

    • Click on the Change Email button to the right of your email.

    • Supply the password for the Profile with the old email (again), enter the new email address, then click Change Email.

    • IMPORTANT: do NOT close the browser window after clicking the Change Email button on the previous step. Check the inbox for the new email address for your Verification Code. Once the email arrives (this may take up to 5 minutes and check your junk mail folder), copy the 6-digit Verification Code from the email into the Enter the verification code: field in the browser window and click Continue. You will now be logged out of the Profile and will have to use the new email and your old password to access it.
