Pre-Authorized Withdrawal Plan (PAWS) - Property Tax

The City of Nanaimo offers a Property Tax installment plan. Installments are withdrawn on the fifteenth (15) of the month.

The regular program runs from July to June each year for a total of twelve (12) installments, however, taxpayers can apply at any time but would not be able to collect twelve (12) installments towards the upcoming year's taxes through the program.

Note: Taxes must be up-to-date (zero or credit balance) to enroll in the program.

USER RATES PLANS

Enrolling in either program below will keep any outstanding balance from transferring to the property tax account and accruing daily interest on January 1st each year. Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions - User Rates before enrolling in one of the options below. 

Attention: If you are enrolling in the program or modifying banking information you must submit a Void Cheque or Bank Authorization Form. 

Please include a Void Cheque or Bank Authorization Form if you are submitting a new application or changing banking information.

I/we certify that we have read the terms and conditions of the plan(s) we would like to enroll in and we authorize the City of Nanaimo to deduct monthly installments from my financial institution for the payment of property taxes and/or user rates as outlined in the terms and conditions of each plan.
