Cooking Fire Ban Rescinded in Nanaimo

Summary

Effective Monday August 31, 2015 “Cooking Fires” will be permitted in the City of Nanaimo. Residents are to follow Bylaw 7108 concerning cooking fires. Residents are requested to refer to the Bylaw found at fire.nanaimo.ca. The camp fire ban is also lifted on the private campground operations within the City of Nanaimo.
