Fire Ban Rescinded Effective Noon Thursday

Summary

Effective at noon on Thursday August 28, 2014 the Provincial Coastal Fire Centre will rescind its campfire ban which has been in place since July 17th. On that basis, the City of Nanaimo is also lifting its fire ban thereby permitting Cooking Fires within the City. The camp fire ban is also lifted on the private campground operations within the City of Nanaimo.
