Project Description

  • Installation of concrete curb bulges, new concrete letdowns, northbound bus stop and rapid rectangular flashing beacons at the intersection of St. George Crescent (south access) and Waddington Road
  • Installation of curb bulges at Victoria Road and Cavan Street, new concrete sidewalk down the east side of Victoria Road from Cavan Street to Esplanade, new curb bulges and crosswalks at the intersection of Victoria Road and Esplanade
  • Extension of the multi-use path from the 1000 block of Haliburton Street to Highview Terrace

General Considerations

  • Typical hours of work for this project will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with work after hours and weekends as required.
  • Single lane traffic on should be expected during working hours
  • Construction noise and vibration should be expected during working hours
  • Anticipate traffic pattern changes
  • If you live in the area and have young children, please advise them of the dangers of construction and the limited visibility of heavy equipment and trucks
  • Landscape restoration will be done at the end of the project.

Construction Value: $480,000.00

Estimate Construction Start Date: January 25, 2021

Estimate Construction Completion Date: May 28, 2021
