Kenworth and Cienar Storm & Watermain Upgrades

Project Description

The City Construction Crew will be upgrading the watermain on Kenworth between Shenton and Bowen. Also upgrading the watermain on Cienar. The storm sewer will be upgraded in Kenworth between Shenton and Diver Lake.

Work is scheduled to start mid to late July, 2025.

Please exercise caution, obey all signage placed for your safety and follow the directions of the flagpersons on duty. Every effort will be made to keep local disruptions to a minimum.

General Considerations

• Work hours: 7am-6pm
• Work days: Monday to Thursday
• Construction signs will be posted
• Flagpersons will be on duty to assist with the traffic flow
• Traffic disruptions can be expected and detours may be in effect
• If you have young children, please advise them of the dangers and limited visibility of heavy equipment and trucks.

Estimate Construction Start Date: mid to late July 2025

Estimate Construction Completion Date: End of August (TBD)
