Project Description

Copcan Civil LP, on behalf of the City of Nanaimo, will be constructing a new raised crosswalk and other pedestrian improvements at the intersection of Townsite Road and Holly Avenue.

General Considerations

Please expect traffic disruptions, including lane, sidewalk, and crosswalk closures, as well as delays. Construction signage and traffic control personnel will be in place to help vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians move safely through the area. Please stay alert, follow posted signs, and obey the directions of traffic control personnel. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to remind children to stay clear of construction equipment and work areas. Thanks for your patience!
