  The Nanaimo Recycles app is available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Use your mobile phone to:

  • Review collection schedules
  • Receive reminders
  • Get sorting tips for your recycling, green waste, and garbage

   

• Set up reminders with the Nanaimo Recycles app

  1. Download the Nanaimo Recycles app
  2. Open the app and enter your address
  3. Select “More” (3 dots) 
  4. Select “Notifications”
  5. Turn notifications on by selecting “Yes”
  6. Select a time and day you want to be notified

  Never miss a pick-up day

  1. Get a collection reminder for your recycling, organics, and garbage carts.
  2. Enter your address above in the Nanaimo Recycles search bar to see your customized collection schedule.
  3. Click on, Get a reminder!

  For email reminders

  1. Select, Email, for emailed reminders
  2. Complete form: Email address, time, and day of reminders
  3. Read and consent to Privacy Policy to sign up.

  For phone reminders

  1. Select, Phone Call, for reminders
  2. Complete form: Phone number, time, and day of reminders
  3. Read and consent to Privacy Policy to sign up.

• Print your collection calendar

  1. Enter your address above in the Nanaimo Recycle search bar to see your customized collection schedule.
     
  2. Click on, Print Calendar.
  3. Click on Print and follow the directions for your printer.
