A change to Question Period
Council and residents will try out a new system for asking questions during the Question Period portion of Council and Committee meetings. If the process is successful, it will be implemented on a permanent basis.

Louden Walkway road closure
Lake Road along Long Lake will formally become dedicated park between Apsley Ave and Victoria Ave through the road closure process. In addition, Council agreed to address a number of historical encroachments located along Lake Road by disposing of portions of the road to adjacent homeowners.

Development around Nanaimo
A development permit was issued for a house to be built at 510 Woodhaven Drive, a development variance permit was issued for a temporary office building at 301 Eaton Street and the rezoning of 480 Tenth Street from Single Dwelling Residential to Duplex Residential passed first and second readings.
