May 25, 2020 Special Council Summary

Staff have been given the go-ahead to undertake a public engagement strategy for the 2020-2021 Coordinated Strategic Policy Review. This process will include an update to the City’s 2008 Official Community Plan, the 2005 Parks, Recreation and Culture Plan and the creation of an Active and Sustainable Transportation Plan. Other plans involved in the public engagement strategy include the Economic Development Strategy, Climate Action Plan and Water Supply Strategic Plan.

Originally entitled “City Spark”, Council requested that the name be changed and updated visual materials be presented.
