Committee Recommendations
The Health and Housing Task Force will report to Council regarding funding for long-term recovery beds once a needs assessment, which is currently underway, is completed.
A robust social disorder advocacy strategy will be drafted as outlined in “Attachment A” of the report “Municipal Government Advocacy”. A future GPC meeting will be held to review specific topics Council wishes to advocate for and why.
Section 8b
Community Emergency Preparedness Grant
Council has endorsed an application for the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Community Emergency Preparedness Fund grant. The $25,000 in funding would be used to purchase additional equipment for the City’s Emergency Operations Centre.

Strategic Plan Adopted
Council adopted the revised 2019-2022 Strategic Plan.
Section 10c
Financial Plan Amendment
A bylaw to amend the 2019-2023 Financial Plan, to reflect changes that have occurred since the bylaw's last amendment, was adopted.
