1. Every worker has the right to know the hazards of their worksite, participate in safety and refuse unsafe work.

2. To access the City’s Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) program on the City’s intranet, you would click the yellow hard hat.

3. The City has Joint OH&S Committees in which areas:

4. Workers need to call WorkSafeBC to start a claim if they go see a doctor or miss their next scheduled shift at work due to a workplace injury.

5. The City has a return to work program to help employees return to work safely and as early as possible.

6. If you have any questions or concerns about health or safety, you should talk to your supervisor, Joint OH&S Committee member or the OH&S staff in Human Resources.
