Bastion Lighting Colour Blue: North American Safe Boating Awareness Week from May 21 - 25

Time and date:

May 20 -26, 2023 Since 1995, Safe Boating Awareness Week has been the mainstay of boating safety to over 16 million people who recreate on Canadian waters. The 2023 campaign will still be reaching out to Canadian boaters but, may be a little different in many ways. Boating is not quite into full gear yet, with some areas of the country open and some soon to open. Because many are getting onto the water in time for Safe Boating Awareness week, there are 5 key messages for boating safely: 1. Wear Your Lifejacket 2. Boat Sober 3. Take a Boating Course 4. Be Prepared, You and Your Vessel 5. Be Cold Water Safe.
