Bowen Tennis Courts to Undergo Maintenance

Summary

The tennis courts in Bowen Park will be getting a little freshening up. From July 19-24, the upper three courts will be closed for repainting. The lower three courts will remain open as will other courts located in parks across Nanaimo. In September, the three lower tennis courts will be closed for resurfacing and the three upper courts will remain open along with other courts located in parks across Nanaimo. Other tennis courts are located in Beban Park, Diver Lake Park, Departure Bay Park, Beaufort Park, Cinnabar Valley Park, Harewood Park, John Weeks Park, May Richards Bennett Pioneer Park and Morningside Park.

In preparation for repainting, the courts will be power washed Thursday, July 10 and Friday, July 11. While the courts will still remain open during power washing, please expect disruptions.
