Nanaimo Votes 2026: Know Before You Vote

With the 2026 City of Nanaimo General Local Election underway, all election participants have an important role to play in being informed about election rules.  Information about potential election offences and penalties can be found in Division 18 – Election Offences of the Local Government Act. Election offences can be reported to the Chief Election Officer at elections@nanaimo.ca or 455 Wallace Street, Nanaimo, BC and/or RCMP Nanaimo Detachment.
