Please be advised detours remain in effect as construction continues on the Northfield/Boundary/Old Island Highway (Highway 19A) intersections.  

Northfield/Boundary/Highway 19A roads will be affected as follows:

1. No Access to Northfield Road from Old Island Highway (Highway 19A) – 24hrs/day
2. Northfield Road westbound lane closed - 24hrs/day
3. Old Island Highway (Highway 19A) southbound slow lane closed Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm
4. Northfield Road between Highway 19A and Duggan Road is closed with the exception of local traffic Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm
5. Boundary Ave between Northfield Rd. and Mallard Dr. is closed with the exception of local traffic Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm
6. A section of the E & N Trail adjacent to the construction zone is detoured (see third map for detour)
7. The pedestrian underpass is closed and a detour crosswalk at the Northfield/Old Island Highway intersection is in place. 

Additional road closures will be in effect overnight from June 26 through 28 (see second map):

• Northfield Road will be closed between Highway 19A and Boundary Avenue.
• Boundary Avenue northbound will be closed between Mallard Drive and Northfield Road.

ALTERNATE ROUTES:

Northbound

• Highway 19A – please use Dorman Rd. or Waddington Rd.
• Boundary Ave. – please use Meredith Rd. to Bowen Rd.

Southbound

• Highway 19A – please use Dorman Rd. or Waddington Rd.
• Boundary Ave. – please use Highway 19A and Waddington Rd.

• Northfield Road – please use Duggan Rd to Meredith Rd.
