Curbside Collection Disruptions

Due to road condtions, curbside garbage, recycling and kitchen waste collection has been cancelled for Friday, February 3.

If your collection was missed, here are steps you can take:

  • Recycling collection - If your recycling was missed today please take it in over the weekend and put it back out on Monday, February 6 and/or Tuesday, February 7. The contractor will do their best to collect it on Monday and Tuesday of next week. If it is not collected on those days please bring it in and put it out on your next scheduled recycling collection day. For the routes that were missed on Friday, February 3 your next collection will be Monday, February 20. There is no limit to the amout of recycling that can be placed out for collection.
  • Garbage collection - If we miss it today please take it back in. We will collect it on your next scheduled garbage collection day. For the routes that were missed on Friday, February 3 your next collection will be Monday, February 20. We will take extra garbage on that date; there will be no need to purchase a tag.
  • Kitchen waste collection - If your kitchen waste collection was missed today, please take it back in. We will collect it on your next scheduled kitchen waste collection day. For the routes that were missed on Friday, February 3 your next collection will be Friday, February 10. If you have too much kitchen waste you can place it in your garbage (this is an exception for snowy weather).
