Seabold Rotary Park

Located at end of Seabold Road, playground equipment was installed through the PIP Program in 1997. It consists of swings, slides and a climbing structure and has beautiful views of the ocean. There is not specific parking lot for the park, so parking is permitted on the street near the park.

The stairs down to the beach are closed until further notice. A storm took out the stairs, and the remedial work will have to be done to stabilize the bank.

The repairs at this location required advance planning and budgeting as the damage to the structure and engineered piles was significant. In addition, we identified pockets of root rot in the fir trees, which required further inspection and assessment before we could move forward.

Necessary funding is now in place, and the work is included in our upcoming work program. We are currently looking at scheduling options as we coordinate this project with other planned activities.
