We always want to keep our information up to date. If you see any information we're missing, let us know at parksandrecreation@nanaimo.ca.

Description

The park was improved through the VIP program in 2000 where various pieces of playground equipment were added, including a basketball hoop, swings, a play structure and slides which are referred to as the "best slides in town." The play field portion of this park is used mainly for soccer and baseball.

The one acre neighbourhood park was acquired in 1963 and is named after a fireman who lost his life in the line of duty at the nearby gas plant on September 7, 1977.
