Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 5-7 pm for Pride Week with the Inclusive Pride and Transgender Flags Raised.

This annual tradition marks the official start of Pride Week with a short, meaningful ceremony that brings together local leaders, community members, and chosen family to celebrate resilience, visibility, and queer joy. There will be community information booths, face painting, food and drunk vendors with live DJ and Drag Story Time with PJ Smudge. Everyone welcome! Nanaimo City Hall, 455 Wallace Street, Upper Parking Lot on the corner of Franklyn Street and Dunsmuir Street.
