Support local arts: Volunteer opportunity now open for Arts Guild

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is seeking one volunteer to serve on the Nanaimo Performing Arts Guild (the Guild), an advisory committee that works cooperatively with the City of Nanaimo towards maintaining the Old Victoria Arts Centre and oversees administrative and operational matters.

Residents who have a passion for the performing arts and are looking for a way to give back to the community are encouraged to apply. The term for this position will run until December 2026.

Those interested in applying are encouraged to visit the City website to review the terms of reference before submitting an application. Residents of Nanaimo who have performing arts experience and wish to make a difference in their community are encouraged to apply. Application forms can be found online.

Completed applications must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025. Submissions can be mailed or dropped off to:
