Nanaimo Votes: 2022 General Local Election advance voting begins next week

Advance voting happens October 5 and 12

Summary

The first advance voting opportunity for the 2022 General Local Election is on Wednesday, October 5. Eligible electors can vote at this or the second advance voting opportunity on Wednesday, October 12. Voting at advance polls is between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Beban Park Social Centre located at 2300 Bowen Road.

On General Election Day, October 15, 2022, eligible electors can vote at any of these voting locations, open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.:

  • Protection Island Fire Hall (poll open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), 26 Pirates Lane
  • Randerson Ridge Elementary School, 6021 Nelson Road
  • Salvation Army Church, 505 8th Street
  • Uplands Park Elementary School, 3821 Stronach Drive
  • Wellington Secondary School, 3135 Mexicana Road
  • Woodlands Secondary School, 1270 Strathmore Street
