Upcoming work to lead to temporary closure on Departure Bay Road

Summary

On Monday, August 19, 2019 crews working for the City of Nanaimo will begin a slope stabilization project on Departure Bay Road. During this time, Departure Bay Road between Newton Street and Little John Way will be closed and a detour will be in place. The work is planned to take two weeks and the road is expected be open at the end of August.
