Fire Investigation Complete on Nicol Street Fire
STATEMENT - Distributed October 13, 2017 1:49 PM
Nanaimo Fire Rescue has completed their investigation into the tragic fire on Nicol Street on Tuesday, October 10.
"This tragic event resulted in loss of life to three people and our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends and extended families at this time," said Karen Fry, Fire Chief.
The fire has been ruled to be accidental in nature and was most likely caused by unattended candles.
