Harewood Centennial Park playground upgrades near completion

The City of Nanaimo is pleased to announce the re-opening of the playground and water park located in Harewood Centennial Park.

The playground area in Harewood Centennial Park underwent upgrades and improvements as part of an overall Park Improvement Plan. The following improvements were implemented: expanded playground areas with new play features and playground area, additional play features in the existing playground will be installed during the month of June, new fencing, paved pathways and additional parking closer to the lacrosse boxes.

The Harewood Centennial Park Improvement Plan was developed with significant input from park stakeholders.
