Westhaven Park Improvements - Phase 2

Phase 2 of the park improvements are planned for Fall 2026. Phase 2 will encompass grading and landscape improvements, including levelling, seeding and shade tree planting. Where safe and possible, the playground and trails will be kept open to minimize public disruption.

Phase 1 of the improvements was completed in 2024 with the installation of a new playground. The landscape improvements in Phase 2 were expressed through the engagement process as community desires to make the park more usable.

Westhaven park was originally developed in the 1990s under the City’s Partners in Parks Program.
