Voyent Alert issued for Parks Closure due to High Winds

The following alert was sent to City of Nanaimo residents registered for Voyent Alert!, our emergency notification system.

Due to current and forecast high winds, effective immediately, all City of Nanaimo parks are closed.

Members of the public are asked not to attend parks while closures are in place. Please stay away from all treed areas while high winds persist.

We will communicate further when parks are open again.
