Delays to Garbage and Recycling Collection

Due to mechanical issues, there have been some delays to garbage and recycling collection this week. Several routes are being impacted and crews are expecting to get caught up as the week goes on. If your bins have not been collected, please leave them at the curb.

Notifications regarding pickup delays are being sent out through the Nanaimo Recycles app – we encourage you to download this free app to stay up-to-date. We appreciate your patience during this time!
