Residents warned of solicitation scam

Nanaimo Fire Rescue has received reports from the public of someone soliciting funds on their behalf. This is a scam. If you receive a phone call or encounter someone claiming to be from Nanaimo Fire Rescue seeking donations, please call the Nanaimo RCMP to report them: 250-754-2345.
