Please be advised a detour will be in effect on Northfield Road 24 hours/day April 13, 2018 through Friday, April 20, 2018 as construction continues on the Northfield/Boundary/Old Island Highway (Highway 19A) intersections.  

Northfield/Boundary/Highway 19A roads will be affected as follows:

1. No Access to Northfield Road from Highway 19A
2. Boundary Ave between Northfield Rd. and Mallard Dr. – road closed Mon-Friday 7am to 5pm
3. Boundary Ave between Mallard Dr. and Meredith Rd. – open to local traffic only  Mon-Friday 7 am to 5 pm
4. A section of the E & N Trail adjacent to the construction zone will be detoured for approximately one month (see second map for detour)

UPDATE:

Please note the additional traffic impacts for the Old Island Highway (Highway 19A) for Thursday April 19, 2018:

1. 12 pm to 7 pm: Slow-lane closure for Highway 19A Northbound
2. 7 pm Thursday through 7 am Friday: Single-lane traffic both directions on Highway 19A with no left turn from Northfield Rd. to Highway 19A 

ALTERNATE ROUTES:

Northbound

• Highway 19A – please use Dorman Rd. or Waddington Rd.
• Boundary Ave. – please use Meredith Rd. to Bowen Rd.

Southbound

• Highway 19A – please use Dorman Rd. or Waddington Rd.
• Boundary Ave. – please use Highway 19A and Waddington Rd.
