Job Summary

The City of Nanaimo is seeking election workers to facilitate voting in the 2018 Municipal Election.  A detailed list of the required positions can be found on our website under Your Government; Elections; Working the 2018 Election.

Duties and Responsibilities

Applicants must be:

  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Available to attend a training session during the first week of October
  • Available to work extended hours on Election Day - Saturday, October 20, 2018

Compensation and Benefits

Remuneration for these positions will be $280 for Election Day, and $25 for training.  A limited number of positions are also needed for advanced poll days (October 10 & 17, 2018).
