Pickleball Courts

Nanaimo offers several dedicated and multi-use pickleball courts for the public to use. Locations include Beban Park and Beaufort Park. These courts are first come first served and if there is que of people waiting are to be used in 30 minute time slots. 

Beban Park Pickleball Courts

Pickleball courts are available on a first come-first serve basis with a 30 minute rotation if others are waiting. Courts are not typically bookable except for large events or local school instruction. Beban Park is home to many of the city's key recreational amenities including arenas, indoor swimming pool, social centre, fields, playgrounds, tennis and pickleball courts, and more.

Beaufort Park Pickleball Courts

Multi-purpose courts at Beaufort Park were opened in 2018 when tennis courts were converted. These courts are suitable for pickleball, basketball, and other recreational activities. The park features walking trails, a partially fenced year-round dog off-leash area, and is a popular connection route between the hospital and Townsite neighbourhoods. Additional amenities include a community garden and food forest.
