Accessing Property Information Online

If you are a legal, real estate, financial or land development professional, you can now access property information online using our Web Customer system. For a nominal fee, you can search, view and download various property reports.

To top-up your Web Customer account please visit the Online Services page. 

Tax Certificates

Tax certificates are conveniently available for purchase through:

myLTSA

  • Log in to your myLTSA account
  • From the main menu, select Service Providers and then Order Tax Certificates

APIC

If you prefer to pay for the tax certificate by credit card, please go to APIC Canada's website to open an account and order your tax certificate. 

Keep in mind that tax certificates will not display property owner name and address. However, you can contact a lawyer or notary public to get this information. The City cannot provide tax certificate information over the phone.

Register a Web Customer account

  1. Complete our Information Services Agreement Form and email it to web.customer@nanaimo.ca. Once reviewed and approved, we’ll email you your online account information, usually within a week.
  2. Add funds to your account online using a major credit card or at the Service and Resource Centre with a cheque. You will be charged each time you view or download information.
  3. Search your property on the Property Information Portal Login page (was Web Customer) and launch your desired report.
