City Council statement on inclusion and respectful community

Following a decision made at the Feb. 23, 2026, regular Council meeting, City Council affirms that it stands with marginalized people and visible minorities and reaffirms its commitment to fostering a safe and respectful community for everyone who lives, works and visits Nanaimo.
