As part of Emergency Preparedness Month and in support of this year’s Fire Prevention Week, Nanaimo Fire Rescue is opening the doors of Fire Station #1 to the public for a special open house event on Tuesday, October 21, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Residents of all ages are invited to come explore the station, meet local firefighters and learn more about fire safety.
