Settlement reached with former CAO

The City of Nanaimo has reached a settlement of all outstanding legal matters involving its former Chief Administrative Officer, Tracy Samra. The settlement includes former Mayor Bill McKay and Councillor Sheryl Armstrong, both of whom had been named separately in the litigation. The parties resolved their disputes to their mutual satisfaction. As a result of a confidentiality agreement, none of the parties are able to comment further.
