Register for winter programs with Parks, Recreation and Culture

Summary
The City of Nanaimo, Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture is offering recreation programs this upcoming winter season (December to March). Registration begins on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Please note that swimming lesson registration will begin on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Residents can find out about programs by:
- Viewing the online PDF version of the Winter Activity Guide (https://www.nanaimo.ca/parks-recreation-culture/recreation-facilities-schedules/activity-guide)
- Searching programs by category, age or interest through our online registration system (https://www.nanaimo.ca/parks-recreation-culture/register-for-a-program)
Register online through recreation.nanaimo.ca (accounts should be set up in advance of registration date), by telephone at 250-756-5200 or in-person at Beban Park, Bowen Complex, Oliver Woods Community Centre and Nanaimo Aquatic Centre.
The City continues to follow and adjust to the latest Provincial Health Guidelines to keep participants healthy and safe from COVID-19. Participants will be contacted through email or phone if there are any cancellations or modifications to their registered programs. Should registration have to be delayed, the City will be communicating this information through a subsequent news release and through social media channels.
