Feedback process continues in Public Engagement Pilot Program

Additional sessions planned for August, online survey open

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is offering additional opportunities for residents to provide their thoughts on what aspects they would like to see tested in a new one-year public engagement pilot program. Three feedback sessions will be held on:

  • August 16 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Oliver Woods Community Centre,
  • August 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Harewood Activity Centre, and
  • August 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Lions Pavilion located in Maffeo Sutton Park.

Ideas and suggestions received during these meetings will be compiled with input collected during the two sessions held on July 17 and 18 along with results from an online survey open until 12:00 p.m., August 31, 2017. A committee will then review the feedback and propose recommendations on what the program should look like.
