Crews respond to southend bush fire

Summary

On Monday July 17th at 9:00 pm NFR crews responded to a reported bush fire in the southend, near Lotus Pinnatus Way. It was approximately 1/2 hectare in size.

As of this morning, the fire has been contained and crews will be monitoring as they work to clean up hot spots. There are no road closures and no structures were at risk, however we recommend that the public avoid the area to allow crews to work. The fire is under investigation.
