Free parking available in Nanaimo evenings and weekends

City set to continue to provide free parking downtown

Summary

A partnership between the City of Nanaimo and the Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association (DNBIA) has been renewed by Council allowing a continuation of free parking downtown at on-street meters and the Bastion parkade located on Skinner Street each evening and on weekends.

As before, the Harbourfront parkade and Vancouver Island Conference Centre parkade will remain as pay parking.
