Description

Saysutshun (Newcastle Island) Marine Provincial Park is a popular destination and is accessible by private boat or a foot ferry (board at Maffeo-Sutton Park). The park managed by the Snuneymuxw First Nation in partnership with the provincial government and City of Nanaimo.

The island offers excellent ocean views, wildlife viewing opportunities, camping, picnicking, hiking and interpretive trails.
