Cart Exchange Request

Property owners of single family homes, and homes with suites that share an upsized cart set, can use the form below to submit a cart exchange request.  If your property type or preferred cart changes are not listed on this page, or you require further assistance, please contact us by emailing Cart.Requests@nanaimo.ca or calling 250-756-5390.

An administration fee of $60 is required for all cart exchange requests.  If you swap two carts at the same time, only one charge will apply.

Conditions: Cart exchange requests must be submitted by the property owner.  The rates and charges for curbside collection service are subject to change via amendment of the Municipal Solid Waste Collection Bylaw 2011 No. 7128.  All cart exchange requests are subject to approval and/or inspection.  Curbside cart use is solely for the collection of residential Solid Waste from the serviced property, per bylaw No. 7128, with exceptions as noted in Section 7.
